Mirror Closet Doors Add Light And The Illusion Of Space

Any room in a house or in an RV would benefit from added light and the feeling of greater spaciousness created by mirror closet doors.

If looking to spruce up a home on a limited budget, these doors present a viable, inexpensive option. Warp- and shatter-proof mirrors will guarantee safety if installed in a child's room or recreational areas. Long-term reflecting surface stability is ensured due to technological advances in construction and materials. These advances are noted especially for their increased ability to guarantee resistance to pressure and strength against impact.

Jam-proofing is made possible due to technologically advanced gliding surfaces, rollers and guides. Adjustable track installation is a breeze. Tracks are easily modified for mounting on flooring or carpet.

A less common, but elegant choice for mirrored doors is v-groove etching; however, aluminum or wood framing may be the more logical choice for any particular area. It might be suitable to install sliding doors across one whole wall disguising a useful storage space. A variety of smoked glass or opaque finishes are elegant choices and a stunning variant from the more often seen clear glass styles.

A mirror door would make a striking and trendy statement if mounted in the kitchen. Tired old cupboard doors and pantries might transition into sleek, new designer-look areas. Alternatively, a mirror mounted inside a cupboard creates the illusion of more space. Interesting conversation might ignite as a result of these unusual decor decisions.

Also, the illusion of spaciousness and the mirror-faced door's ability to enhance lighting in RV's would benefit such an enclosed space!

To be able to view oneself in full while dressing would certainly be a functional advantage in addition to decor. Fully opened bi-fold doors would allow a full-length, back to front view. The need for an ordinary wall-mounted mirror, the use of a hand-held mirror or another person's opinion would be eliminated.

There are some conditions which would deter one from installing these doors. For instance, if a room has two or more closets on opposite walls facing each other, it would not be advisable to install these doors. An unwelcome, confusing and disorienting carnival-like environment might be the outcome. Additionally, if one is dismayed by the prospect of cleaning glass on a regular basis, installation would not be recommended.

This door is a combination of various glass, with frame options in single or double swing design. You have the option to choose between a door set with decorative glass or mirrors or dressing mirrors attached to each door's back side. It's very easy to hang. Its overlay opening eliminates the need for a door jamb or a square cased opening.

The quality of this door system showed its engineering superiority, ensuring smooth, easy and quiet door movement and trouble-free operation for years. It incorporates Arcadia Industries' FINELINE bifold system which it claims to have made this door one of the easiest to operate in the industry. You have an option for prefinished paneling for heavy-duty applications such as mirror inserts or children's room. Because of this, the door system is ideal as replacement or optional upgrade programs.
